Sheena DiMatteo is a professional dancer and esteemed choreographer currently living in New York City. She earned a B.A. in Dance with a Musical Theater minor from Point Park University in her home city of Pittsburgh, PA, after a successful career of dancing competitively in her youth. Since graduating, she has performed aboard Holland America cruise ships with Stiletto Entertainment and has been seen in numerous regional theater productions through Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, The Lucille Lortel Theater, The Pittsburgh Playhouse, and West Virginia Public Theater. Shows include Little Shop of Horrors, 42nd St., The Producers, West Side Story, Will Rogers Follies, The Velveteen Rabbit, On the Town, and Contact. Sheena is the on-screen host of the YouTube show "Just Dance: Season One" on DanceOn Network, and has enjoyed performing in music videos, webseries, flash mobs, concerts, showcases, and industrial events in NYC. A favorite was the Phish Madison Square Garden New Year's Eve Concert of 2011. In competition dance choreography, Sheena's unique style and concepts have led her studios to win entertainment and choreography awards, as well as national overall victories. She currently continues to travel the country teaching master classes and setting new choreography in the styles of jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, and contemporary. Sheena has choreographed 14 full-scale musicals for pre-professional theatre camps in PA and NYC, and is a certified Zumba trainer.
